Shabazz Muhammad scored 21 points to help lead UCLA to a 74-64 win over Oregon State.
No. 24 UCLA improved to 15-3 and 5-0 in the Pac 12 with a 74-64 win over Oregon State at Pauley Pavilion. Freshman Shabazz Muhammad led the way for the Bruins with 21 points to help extend UCLA's winning streak to 10 games.
UCLA suffocated an undermanned Oregon State squad defensively holding the Beavers to 41 percent shooting while also forcing 17 turnovers. The Bruins hit 47 percent of their field goal attempts and was 6-12 from the three-point line. Larry Drew II finished with just two points but handed out a game best nine assists.
Muhammad hit 8-14 shots to go with his 21 points. He was 3-5 from beyond-the-arc and also grabbed six rebounds. Kyle Anderson and Travis Wear finished with 17 points each. Anderson pulled down a game-high nine rebounds.
Roberto Nelson led the Beavers with 17 points. Joe Burton chipped in 12 while Olaf Schaftenaar added 10 points off the bench.
