Oregon got the attention of the Pac-12 a couple weeks ago when it upset Arizona. Saturday, the Ducks added another impressive win to the resume, beating UCLA at Pauley Pavilion, 76-67.

The No. 21 Oregon Ducks continued their surprising start to Pac-12 play on Saturday, knocking off the No. 24 UCLA Bruins, 76-67, at Pauley Pavilion. Big man Tony Woods had 18 points on 8-9 shooting for the Ducks. Travis Wear had 17 points to lead the Bruins.

Oregon was looking for its second win over a Top 25 team this month after beating No. 7 Arizona on Jan. 10. Doing the same on the road, however, would not be as easy.

Neither team held more than a four-point lead throughout the first half, but when UCLA went up by five just before the under-16 timeout of the second half, Oregon responded. The Ducks promptly took a three-point lead on an 8-0 run, to retake control. Down the stretch, it was two critical dunks by Woods and some good free throw shooting that sealed the game for Oregon. The Ducks finished the game 16-22 from the line.

UCLA's Shabazz Muhammad did not start the game after the freshman arrived late to practice on Friday. He had 10 points and six rebounds in the losing effort.
