USA TODAY Sports

Victor Oladipo scored 21 points as No. 7 Indiana knocked off No. 13 Michigan State, 75-70, at Assembly Hall.

Indiana improved to 18-2 on the season and moved to 6-1 in the Big Ten with a 75-70 win over Michigan State at Assembly Hall.

The first half included four lead changes before the Hoosiers built a 28-19 lead with eight minutes to play in the half. The Spartans answered with a 9-0 spurt over the next three minutes to tie the game, but a small push to end the half gave Indiana a 44-38 advantage at the break.

Michigan State stuck with Indiana for the majority of the second half, but couldn't quite get over the hump. Cody Zeller struggled throughout the game, but his lay in with 1:39 remaining put the Hoosiers up, 74-70. Zeller then then came up big on the defensive end, taking a charge on Michigan State's Derrick Nix with just 14.3 seconds remaining.

Victor Oladipo led the Hoosiers with 21 points to go along with seven rebounds, six steals and three blocks. Christian Watford chipped in 12 points while Kevin Ferrell added 11. Zeller finished with 9 points on just 2-of-7 shooting. Gary Harris led the Spartans with 21 points while Adreian Payne added 18. Branden Dawson chipped in 12.
