Florida allowed just 10 first-half points from South Carolina as they stayed perfect in SEC play this season.
At home after a two-game SEC road trip, the No. 4 Florida Gators made it look easy against the South Carolina Gamecocks, leading 33-10 at halftime before finishing their seventh SEC victory with a 75-36 margin over USC.
The Gators shot the lights out from the field, knocking down 52.8 percent of their attempts, including 57.1 percent from beyond the arc. Things could've been a lot worse for South Carolina as well as Florida shot just seven of 16 from the free throw line. The Gators also outrebounded the Gamecocks 37 to 23 on the evening.
Michael Carrera was the lone Gamecock to finish in double figures with 13 points. South Carolina had a terrible night from the field, hitting just 31.1 percent of their shots, including 14.3 percent from beyond the arc. The Gamecocks also turned the ball over 17 times.
Florida will get ready to host the No. 16 Ole Miss Rebels Saturday while the Gamecocks head home to face the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday.
