Two-time Patriot League Men's Basketball Player of the Year C.J. McCollum hurt his foot vs. VCU on Saturday, but his coach said after the game it's too early to know if it's broken.

C.J. McCollum, a senior shooting guard for the Lehigh Mountain Hawks, could be done for the year after injuring his foot on Saturday in a game against Virginia Commonwealth.

Lehigh coach Brett Reed said the foot may be broken, but it is too early to know for sure, according to the Commonwealth Times.

McCollum, 21, was named the Patriot League Men's Basketball Player of the Year in both 2010 and 2012 and became the conference's all-time leading scorer in November. Considered a potential first-round selection in the 2013 NBA Draft, Amy Rosenberg of the Philadelphia Inquirer reported that 32 NBA scouts were in attendance on Saturday when the injury occurred.

Video of the incident shows it was a non-contact injury, as McCollum began limping after taking a step to pass to a teammate:

The senior had four points, two rebounds and two assists before suffering the injury in the first half. Lehigh lost the game, 59-55, to fall to 9-4 overall.

In the 2012 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, McCollum scored 30 points against the Duke Blue Devils, leading the No. 15 seed Mountain Hawks to the sixth-ever first-round upset of a No. 2-seeded team in the annual tournament.
