College basketball schedule: Maui rolls on with a pair of semifinal matchups

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Syracuse, Baylor and Gonzaga are all in action in Maui as November tournaments continue around the country.

It's one of the most exciting times of the college basketball regular season. Ranked teams from conferences around the country find themselves pitted against each other for early-season resume builders and prestigious tournament championships.

No tournament is more prestigious than the Maui Invitational, which moves to the semifinal round Tuesday night. No. 8 Syracuse got all it could handle Monday afternoon against Minnesota and now plays a tough Cal team for a spot in the championship game.

But while all eyes might be on Maui, there are great games slated all over the college basketball world. Monday night in Kansas City, Wichita State clobbered DePaul and BYU slipped by Texas to set up a mid-major showdown in the CBE Hall of Fame Classic title game. The Cancun Challenge also gets started on Tuesday with a battle of unbeatens -- Saint Louis and No. 10 Wisconsin -- headlining the schedule.

Here's a complete look at Tuesday's Top 25 action. All times Eastern:

Chaminade vs. No. 11 Gonzaga (Maui Invitational, 4:30 p.m., ESPN2)
No. 8 Syracuse vs. California (Maui Invitational semifinals, 7 p.m., ESPN)
Loyola (Md.) vs. No. 13 Connecticut (7 p.m., ESPN3)
No. 10 Wisconsin vs. Saint Louis (Cancun Challenge semifinals, 8:30 p.m., CBSSN)
No. 18 Baylor vs. Dayton (Maui Invitational semifinals, 9:30 p.m., ESPN)
No. 12 Wichita State vs. BYU (CBE Hall of Fame Classic finals, 10 p.m., ESPN2)
