Kansas vs. Villanova final score: Wildcats upset Jayhawks, 63-59

USA TODAY Sports

Villanova's Ryan Arcidiacono made the most of his one field goal on Friday.

Ryan Arcidiacono buried a go-ahead three-pointer with 10 seconds remaining to lead the Villanova Wildcats to a 63-59 victory over the No. 2 Kansas Jayhawks in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in the Bahamas on Friday.

Kansas used a 13-1 run late in the second half to erase an 11-point deficit and take the lead on Frank Mason's three-point play with 33 seconds remaining. On the ensuing possession, Arcidiacono snapped Villanova's seven-minute stretch without a field goal by hitting a corner three.

Mason had a chance to regain the lead for Kansas, but missed a long-distance attempt with three seconds left.

Darrun Hilliard and Dylan Ennis had 14 points apiece for the Wildcats, who improved to 6-0. JayVaughn Pinkston added 13 points and seven rebounds.

Mason led the Jayhawks with 12 points, all of which came in the final 13:22 of the game. Freshman sensation Andrew Wiggins added 10 points.
