The Gators eclipsed 80 points for the third-straight game and continued to blow past the rest of the SEC competition.
Senior guard Mike Rosario led the Gators with 22 points, Kenny Boynton added 16 and Erik Murphy 11 as the Gators just couldn't miss from the field. Florida shot 62.8 percent from the floor and 58.3 percent from beyond the arc. Freshman guard Michael Frazier was especially hot, going 6-of-7 from the 3-point line for 18 points.
With the win the Gators extended even more space over Kentucky in the SEC standings. Kentucky lost earlier on Saturday to Tennessee. Alabama, second in the SEC at 8-3 takes on South Carolina later on Saturday.
Auburn continued their fall into the cellar of the SEC. It was the third straight loss for the Tigers and their ninth loss in 10 games. Junior guard Chris Denson led the Tigers with 13 points, but didn't get much help from the rest of the team. Only fellow guard Jordan Price finished with double-digit points.
Auburn shot 35.2 percent from the floor, and struggled to make their own shots against Florida's defense, only garnering eight assists on 19 field goals.
