Syracuse was held to 46 points by Georgetown on Saturday, its lowest scoring output at home in nine years. The loss also snapped the Orange's 38-game home court winning streak, which was the longest in the country.
Marquette dropped a tough road game at Villanova, a true bubble team that has stepped up its game in recent weeks and is eyeing an NCAA Tournament bid.
The Orange and Golden Eagles will tip off at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN and WatchESPN.
A pair of ranked Big 12 teams are also in action on Monday, and one of them will be involved in a game with possible postseason implications as the No. 9 Kansas Jayhawks hit the road to face the Iowa State Cyclones.
The Cyclones are currently in as a No. 11 seed, according to SB Nation bracket expert Chris Dobbertean, but they're one of the last eight teams in, meaning their spot likely isn't solidified at this point. However, if they can pull the upset over Kansas, their ticket to the tourney will be all but punched.
Kansas has returned to form, winning four straight games after a three-game losing streak. The Jayhawks avenged two of their losses during that streak, squeezing past Oklahoma State in overtime and clobbering TCU.
The Cyclones and Jayhawks are slated to start upon completion of the Syracuse-Marquette game on the same two ESPN platforms.
The No. 13 Kansas State Wildcats round out the top-25 teams in action on Monday, taking on the woeful Texas Tech Red Raiders in Manhattan, Kans. at 7 p.m. ET on ESPNU. The Wildcats have won three straight since losing to Kansas on Feb. 11 and are looking to improve their tournament seeding.
