Wisconsin continued an impressive run against the Big Ten on Tuesday night, knocking off Nebraska in convincing fashion.
The Wisconsin Badgers made quick work of Nebraska on Tuesday night, picking up a 77-46 win at the Kohl Center. The Badgers are now 11-4 in conference play and are on pace to earn one of the top seeds come Selection Sunday.
The final outcome in this one was decided about 10 minutes in. Wisconsin moved out to an early double-digit lead and never looked back, taking a 44-23 lead into halftime and extending it to more than 30 before the final horn sounded.
Sam Dekker led the Badgers with 19 points, which was aided by five three-pointers. Ryan Evans chipped in with 14 points, while Ben Brust had 13. As a team, Wisconsin dished out 19 assists and turned the ball over just seven times.
Nebraska was unable to get much of anything to fall. It shot just 33 percent from the field and made just three free throws. Dylan Talley led the Huskers with 21 points and eight rebounds.
Next up for Wisconsin is a home showdown with Purdue. Nebraska heads to Illinois on Saturday night.
