A balanced scoring night gave St. Louis their 10th straight win in Atlantic 10 play.
The No. 18 St. Louis Billikens got scoring from everywhere in a 70-53 win over the St. Joseph's Hawks on Wednesday night. The Billikens led by just two points at the intermission, but put away 41 points in the second frame for their 11th conference win on the season and to remain in first place in the Atlantic 10 Conference. The win gives the Billikens their 10th straight win in conference play.
Neither team shot the ball particularly well, but St. Louis was slightly better from the field, shooting 41.1 percent from the field and 35.7 percent from beyond the arc. St. Joseph's made just 32.6 percent of their shots and was terrible from downtown, draining just 17.6 percent of their attempts from deep.
Dwayne Evans was one of three Billikens to finish with two digits in the scoring column, ending the night with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Rob Loe was the next closest with 11 points, and Mike McCall Jr. dropped 10 points.
Ronald Roberts Jr. led all scorers with 25 points for St. Joseph's, and Langston Galloway chipped in 11 points, as well.
