No. 8 Miami vs. Boston College final score: Hurricanes cruise to 72-50 win

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

The Hurricanes rolled through the Golden Eagles with a 22-point win on Tuesday. They are now 18-3 on the season and perfect against ACC foes.

The Miami Hurricanes continued to breeze through the ACC on Tuesday night with a convincing 72-50 win over Boston College. The victory improves No. 8 Miami to a perfect 9-0 in conference play.

The outcome was never in doubt after the opening tipoff. The Canes moved out to an early double-digit lead and maintained it throughout. They were up by more than 20 points early in the second half and were able to cruise to the finish line.

As a team, Miami shot 49 percent from the field and went 11-for-21 from the three-point arc. There was some concern the Hurricanes might come out flat following a wild one-point win over North Carolina State on Saturday, but that was hardly the case.

Kenny Kadji led the way with 16 points and eight rebounds. Off the bench, Rion Brown had a big night with a game-high 22 points. Four players reached double digits for Miami.

Boston College just could not get a shot to fall. Ryan Anderson was one of the lone bright spots with 14 points and 11 rebounds. As a team, the Eagles hit just 36 percent from the field and went 5-for-10 from the free throw line.
