Mason Plumlee scored 30 points and pulled down nine rebounds for the Blue Devils, who had three double-digit scorers at halftime as Duke raced out to a 58-37 lead at the break. NC State fought back in the second half and got to within eight points of the Blue Devils with 1:09 remaining. However, Duke salted the game away with two Seth Curry free throws and a three-point play from Plumlee in the final minute.
NC State has now lost five out of seven games since upsetting then-No. 1 Duke on Jan. 12. Meanwhile, the Blue Devils look to be back on track with four straight wins.
