After Tim Hardaway Jr.'s three-pointer with 2.4 seconds left in regulation gave Michigan the lead, Brust took a pass from Mike Bruesewitz, raced up court and swished in a desperation shot to send the game into overtime.
With the game tied at 62 in the extra period, Brust found the bottom of the net again with 43 seconds left to give Wisconsin a three-point lead. Hardaway and Trey Burke had good looks on Michigan's next two possessions, but were unable to get them to go, allowing Wisconsin to perserve the win.
Brust finished with 14 points to lead Wisconsin, while Jared Berggren pitched in 13 points and eight rebounds.
Michigan's Burke led all scorers with 19 points.
