Missouri avenged a loss to Ole Miss earlier this season thanks to a big effort from big man Alex Oriakhi in an at-times-chippy blowout victory.
Alex Oriakhi scored 22 points and pulled down 18 rebounds as the No. 21 Missouri Tigers bounced back from a loss earlier this week to defeat the Ole Miss Rebels, 98-79, on Saturday afternoon at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Mo.

Missouri held Marshall Henderson, the leading scorer in the SEC, to a 4-of-15 shooting performance, helping the Tigers improve to 14-0 at home this season. Phil Pressey added 22 points and five assists, while Keion Bell pitched in 21 points. Five Tigers finished in double-digits in scoring.
The Tigers established the tone of the game early, jumping out to a 20-point lead after Laurence Bowers' dunk at the 9:04 mark in the opening half. Missouri never trailed after Pressey hit a three-pointer to give the team a one-point lead two minutes and 15 seconds into the game.
In the second half, things got chippy as Ole Miss' Reginald Buckner was ejected for a throwing a punch at Bowers following some rough play involving Buckner and Oriakhi on a loose ball.
Missouri (17-6, 6-4 SEC) will try for its first road win in SEC play on Wednesday at Mississippi State. Meanwhile, Ole Miss (18-5, 7-3 SEC) will stay on the road to face Texas A&M.
