Atlantic 10 Tournament 2013 bracket: Saint Louis, VCU headline deep conference

The 2013 Atlantic 10 tournament kicks off Thursday, and it's expected to be a competitive one.

The 2013 Atlantic 10 tournament officially begins on Thursday, March 14, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. 12 out of the 16 teams in the conference qualified for the tournament. The Saint Louis Billikens earned the No. 1 seed after winning the regular season title with a 13-3 record. The VCU Rams, Temple Owls and La Salle Explorers are also getting first round byes.

Besides the automatic bid that will be awarded next Sunday, as many as four at-large bids could be coming out of this conference. It's setting up to be an exciting week of basketball and solid appetizer for the Big Dance in a couple weeks.

Friday, March 15

No. 1 Saint Louis Billikens vs. Game 1 winner (Game 5): 12 PM
