The Colorado Buffaloes will have Andre Roberson available for the Pac-12 Tournament when play begins against Oregon State on Wednesday night, according to The Denver Post's Tom Kensler. The 6'7 junior has been battling a case of mononucleosis that forced him to miss last week's games against the Oregon schools.
Colorado lost to Oregon State in its conference finale without Roberson in the lineup. The Beavers beat the Buffaloes on the glass, grabbing 38 percent of available offensive rebounds, while limiting Colorado to 32 percent of second-chance opportunities.
Rebounding is where Roberson makes his biggest impact. He finished fourth nationally in defensive rebounding percentage, pulling in nearly 28 percent of opponents' misses while on the floor. He also chipped in on the offensive boards, grabbing almost 11 percent of his own team's errant shots.
Roberson contributed 10 rebounds and five steals in Colorado's first meeting with Oregon State, a 72-68 win in Corvallis. Those contributions would certainly have been valuable in Boulder last Saturday.
