NCAA bracket 2013: Midwest Region highlighted by No. 1 overall seed Louisville

The 2013 NCAA Tournament's Midwest Region will have Louisville as its No. 1 seed.

The Midwest Region in the 2013 NCAA Tournament will have its Sweet 16 and Elite Eight games played in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. The No. 1 seed, Louisville, will have a tough road to Atlanta and the Final Four with Duke and Michigan State standing in its way.

An intriguing first-round matchup in this region will be third-seeded Michigan State against Valparaiso, the 14th seed. While Tom Izzo and the Spartans know how to play in the tournament better than just about anyone, Valpo came out of the Horizon league, which is deeper than people realize, and will be a dangerous team.

Louisville is the tournament's No. 1 overall seed and doesn't appear to have too tough of a schedule before the Elite Eight. Oklahoma State, behind Marcus Smart, will be dangerous, but Louisville is too talented and too experienced to be too worried about the Cowboys. They should be worried about the No. 2 seed, Duke, who should REALLY be worried about the No. 15 seed, Albany, because, you know, Lehigh.
