Tom Szczerbowski-USA TODAY Sports

In a battle of two teams with completely opposite styles of play, Wisconsin and Ole Miss meet in the 5-12 matchup on Friday afternoon.

The matchup between the No. 5 and 12 seeds is typically one that brings upsets at the NCAA Tournament. No. 5 Wisconsin will look to avoid the upset bid from No. 12 Ole Miss on Friday afternoon at the Sprint Center in Kansas City.

The Badgers do what they do best just about every season under coach Bo Ryan: control the tempo on offense, and dig in on the defensive end. Wisconsin ranks as one of the best defensive teams in the nation and, while the offense can become stagnant without a go-to scorer, the Badgers can get hot at any moment from behind the arc.

After knocking off Indiana and Michigan last weekend in the Big Ten Tournament, the Badgers fell to Ohio State in the title game.

Ole Miss likely wasn't making the NCAA Tournament without making a run in the SEC Tournament. Led by the always-entertaining Marshall Henderson, the Rebels stormed past Florida in the championship game to secure an automatic bid to the big dance. They really like to push the tempo with the ball in their hands, averaging about 78 points per game.

When Henderson, who averages 20 points a night, is feeling it, the Rebels can be a very tough team to beat. The junior guard is known to force things a bit, though, and Wisconsin's stout defense will likely give the Rebels all kinds of issues. Mississippi will really need to limit turnovers and find good shots if the Rebels hope to pull the upset.

Start Time, TV Info: 12:40 p.m. ET, TruTV

Location: Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo.
