Duke vs. Michigan State: Blue Devils lead 32-31 at halftime

Seth Curry has the Blue Devils ahead of the Spartans with just 20 minutes left to play.

Two heavyweight college basketball programs are playing for a bid to the Elite Eight at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. At halftime, the Duke Blue Devils lead the Michigan St. Spartans, 32-31.

Seth Curry has been on fire for Duke. One of the best three-point shooters in the nation, Curry has a game-high 14 points at the break on 3-of-4 shooting from behind the arc. Despite leading on the scoreboard, the Blue Devils shot just 38 percent from the floor in the first half.

Keith Appling has nine points for MSU thus far. He has done a nice job of getting in the lane and setting his teammates up, although the Spartans have been unable to knock down a couple of the open looks they've had. Adreian Payne struggled with his shot for much of the half, but a late three-pointer now has him at seven points and five rebounds.

Both teams have done a nice job keeping control of the ball, turning it over just four times each. The rebounding battle has also been closely contested, with Michigan State holding a four-rebound edge at the break. Many felt the Spartans may dominate the glass due to their size and athleticism advantage in the frontcourt.

The winner of this game will move on to face the Louisville Cardinals on Sunday afternoon. Good luck getting a ticket for that one.
