Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament 2013 bracket: Top seed and host Mercer attempting to get back to tournament

Mercer will play host to the Atlantic Sun conference tournament starting on Wednesday, March 6, and will attempt to lock up the conference's automatic NCAA Tournament bid. Here's what the bracket looks like.

Fresh off winning their first regular season Atlantic Sun title in a decade, Mercer will attempt to defend its home court and secure the conference's automatic NCAA Tournament berth. The Bears and the rest of the field will vie to take over the throne vacated by Belmont, which won the two previous Atlantic Sun tournament titles before leaving for the Ohio Valley Conference prior to this season.

Each tournament game will be played at Mercer's home arena, the Hawkins Center in Macon, Ga. It won't necessarily be a cakewalk for the home team though, as they just barely held off Florida Gulf Coast to win the regular season title. The Eagles defeated the Bears on Feb. 28, and could very easily make a run to take the NCAA Tournament bid.

All quarterfinal games in the Atlantic Sun Tournament can be seen online on WatchESPN. The semifinals will be shown on Comcast Sports South, and the final will be broadcast live on ESPN2.
