After another great night of action on Friday, just eight teams remain in the hunt for this year's NCAA Tournament championship. With a couple of top seeds and a few Cinderella squads mixed in, there will be no shortage of storylines to keep an eye on as the Elite 8 begins on Saturday.
There are two games set to be played on Saturday, March 30. Fans can watch all of the action live through the NCAA's official website. In addition to on your computer, the games are also available through the iTunes Store and Google Play on your mobile device. As always, CBS will be televising both contests.
The first game of the day is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET as No. 3 seed Marquette battles No. 4 seed Syracuse. These two Big East foes have plenty of college hoops tradition, and they're both coming off an upset win. Marquette knocked off Miami on Thursday, while Syracuse defeated the top-seeded Indiana Hoosiers in impressive fashion. This game has the makings of an all-time classic, especially given the amount of athleticism that will be on the floor.
The nightcap will pit No. 2 seed Ohio State against No. 9 seed Wichita State. For the second game in a row, the Buckeyes needed a late three-pointer to advance, with LaQuinton Ross sinking Arizona on Thursday on a deep three with 2 seconds left. The Shockers dominated No. 13 seed La Salle, and now they have many thinking their Cinderella run could be legit. This should be a great game as both teams really like to dig in on the defensive end. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
