Morehead State-Tennessee State and Eastern Kentucky-Southeast Missouri make up the quarterfinal pairings of the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament on Thursday.
The 2013 Ohio Valley Conference Tournament enters the quarterfinal round on Thursday in Nashville, Tenn.
No. 4 seed Tennessee State takes on No. 5 seed Morehead State in the first game of the night, followed by No. 3 Eastern Kentucky meeting No. 6 Southeast Missouri in the nightcap.
Both Tennessee State and Eastern Kentucky earned first-round byes. Morehead State got through the first round Wednesday, defeating eighth-seeded Tennessee Martin, 73-66, in the first game of the tournament. Southeast Missouri State then took care of seventh-seeded Eastern Illinois, 78-68, to advance to the quarterfinals.
Game time for the Morehead State-Tennessee State tilt is 7 p.m. ET Thursday and can be seen on the OVC Digital Network. The winner takes on top-seeded Belmont in the first semifinal on Friday. The Eastern Kentucky-Southeast Missouri contest follows at 9 p.m. ET and will be covered by the same network. Winner faces No. 2 Murray State on Friday night in the other semifinal.
