College Basketball Betting: Southern, Sun Belt Conference odds

Davidson is a huge favorite to win the Southern Conference title and Middle Tenn is a bigger favorite to claim the Sun Belt crown. Where is the best college basketball betting value Thursday and Friday?

Davidson hits Southern Conference championship week riding a 14-game winning streak and Middle Tennessee hits the Sun Belt title weekend on a 16-game win streak.

Small wonder those teams are huge favorites to win their conference championships and earn automatic bids to March Madness.

The opening week of NCAA conference tournament betting rolls toward the weekend, with more leagues joining the festivities every day.

Friday the Southern Conference, the MAAC and the Sun Belt begin league tournament play.

The Sun Belt Conference championship will be decided Monday night (7 pm ET, ESPN/ESPN2).

In Southern Conference tournament betting top-seeded Davidson, which has won 14 games in a row, tops the betting at odds of 1/3, followed by Charleston at 7/2 and Elon at 7/1, while "The Field" is getting 5/1.

The Southern Conference championship game will be played Monday night (7 pm ET, ESPN/ESPN2).

And on the MAAC tournament board top-seeded Niagara is a 5/2 favorite, followed by Iona and Loyola-Maryland at 11/4, Canisius at 7/1 and Rider and Manhattan at 8/1, while "The Field" is getting 5/1.
