Oregon had a shot to clinch the No. 1 seed in the Pac-12 Tournament on Thursday, but Colorado had other ideas.
The absence of their double-double machine Andre Roberson on Thursday had no effect on the Colorado Buffaloes, who rolled to a 76-53 victory over the No. 19 Oregon Ducks at Coors Events Center in Boulder, Colo.

Spencer Dinwiddie stepped up with 17 points, seven rebounds and six assists, lifting the Buffaloes to their second win over Oregon this season. It was a big victory for the Buffaloes, who improved their NCAA Tournament resume despite finding out earlier in the day that they'll be without Roberson, who is suffering from mononucleosis, for an indefinite period of time.
Oregon hurt its chances at clinching the No. 1 seed in the Pac-12 Tournament by missing 13 of its 22 free throw attempts and shooting just 2-of-12 from beyond the three-point line. Meanwhile, Colorado shot 48.1 percent from the floor, including a 7-of-7 effort from Xavier Johnson, who finished with a team-leading 22 points.
Colorado (20-9, 10-7 Pac-12) concludes its regular season schedule on Saturday against Oregon State, while Oregon (23-7, 12-5 Pac-12) tries to rebound at Utah.
