Miami locked up the regular season ACC title by routing Clemson, 62-49.
The Miami Hurricanes clinched the 2013 regular season ACC title, blowing out the Clemson Tigers, 62-49.
The game was still in doubt at halftime, when Clemson went into the locker room tied 25-25. But in the second half, Miami pulled away quickly and made this game a formality in the last 10 minutes.
Miami shot 42.2 percent from the field and dominated the glass, outrebounding Clemson 32-19. The Hurricanes also had a big advantage in three-point shots, sinking 9 of 21 from beyond the arc.
Kenny Kadji led the Hurricanes with a double-double (23 points, 12 rebounds). Shane Larkin added 11 points off the bench, and Trey McKinney Jones chipped in with 10.
With the win, the Hurricanes wrap up the No. 1 seed in next week's ACC tournament. Despite a bad loss to Georgia Tech on Wednesday night, they're still in the running for a No. 1 NCAA seed and could make a better case for themselves if they run the table in the conference tourney.
