2013 Sun Belt Conference Tournament results and bracket: Florida International, Middle Tennessee State advance

Two teams, including the top-seeded Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders, advanced to the semifinals of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament with wins Saturday.

The Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders (28-4), the No. 1 seed in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, and the Florida International Golden Panthers (17-13), the No. 4 seed in the tournament, will face each other at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the tournament semifinals after both teams picked up wins Saturday.

Middle Tennessee beat the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns, 81-66. Three Middle Tennessee players scored in double figures, led by Bruce Massey Jr. with 15 points. Raymond Cintron scored 12 points and James Gallman Jr. scored 11.

Florida International beat the UALR Trojans, 69-54. Malik Smith scored 25 points and Deric Hill and Tymell Murphy scored 12 points each.
