Michigan vs. Syracuse score update: Orange making it a game

Syracuse is mounting a rally, and are down by just three points with less than eight minutes left.

The Syracuse Orange are making this quite a game down the stretch.

Tough defense has meant the Michigan Wolverines still can't buy a shot in the second half, and Syracuse continues to chip away at the Wolverines' lead as we come down the stretch run.

C.J. Fair continues to come up big for the Orange, bringing Syracuse within four points. He's now up to 20 points on the night. Meanwhile, the zone defense clamped down on Michigan's offense, forcing the Wolverines to burn another timeout at the 10 minute mark. They went nearly four minutes without scoring a single field goal, until Tim Hardaway finally broke his cold streak with a three pointer at the top of the key.

The Wolverines lead 48-45 with less than eight minutes left, but nobody on the team should be breathing easy.
