Kentucky is headed to the Final Four after defeating Michigan in a thriller on Sunday afternoon, 75-72.
With Kentucky leading 72-70, Michigan got the ball with 57 seconds on the clock. The Wolverines missed three shot attempts but somehow grabbed the offensive rebounds before this ball was finally tipped in (accidentally) by Kentucky's Julius Randle.
The Wildcats got one final chance with 31 seconds left, and Aaron Harrison made the most of it. The freshman guard drilled this three-pointer with 2.6 seconds on the clock, sending Big Blue Nation into a frenzy.
Nik Stauskas had one final chance to tie it, but his half-court attempt clanked off the backboard as the buzzer sounded.
It was truly one of the best games of the tournament. Excellent up-and-down action, highlight-reel dunks and sharp shooting. Here were some of the highlights, brought to you in GIF form:
Kentucky used a balanced scoring attack in the win with seven players scoring at least eight points. Julius Randle led the way with 16 points and 11 rebounds. James Young dropped 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting. Aaron Harrison's game-winning three was his fourth of the day, giving him 12 points. Marcus Lee put together a huge first half before ending with 10 points and eight boards.
Kentucky will face Wisconsin in the Final Four next Saturday in Arlington, Texas.
