While Malik Newman’s father has "no idea" where his son will play in college right now, he did tell WLAP 630 in Lexington that he believes he will commit in April.
The five-star prospect has offers from Kansas, Kentucky, Arizona, UConn and North Carolina, among others. Newman, who is ranked by ESPN as the No.4 player in the 2015 class, visited Kentucky, Texas A&M and Ole Miss in October and has been visited recently by Kentucky and Kansas. The Crystal Ball from 247Sports indicates Kentucky has the greatest chance at landing him with a 59 percent shot, Kansas is next at 30 percent and Mississippi State follows standing at 16 percent.
Carlton Bragg
Kansas commit Carlton Bragg told SNY.tv that he will recruit uncommitted high school studs Jaylen Brown and Brandon Ingram at the McDonald's All-American game, and is working on a package deal with the players.
Brown is the No.2 recruit in the 2015 class, and Ingram ranks as the No.12 recruit in the same class, according to ESPN. Both of the forwards are considering Kansas, Kentucky, UCLA and North Carolina, among others. 247Sports' Crystal Ball gives Kansas a 6 percent chance at getting Brown, while the site lists Kansas as having a 19 percent shot at recruiting Ingram.
"He said that by participating in the McDonald’s Game with them this gives him the opportunity to recruit those two guys," Michael Graves, who's Bragg’s mentor, relayed to SNY.tv.
Miles Bridges
Huntington Prep's Miles Bridges told SNY.tv that Louisville, Michigan State, Indiana, Iowa State, UConn and Pitt are recruiting him the hardest.
He visited Kentucky in November, and was also visited by the head coaches of Michigan State and Kentucky. Bridges is the No.7 player in the 2016 class, according to ESPN, and while it is early for the Michigan native, the Crystal Ball lists Michigan State as having a 100 percent chance at landing him.
Kyle Alexander
Alexander, a forward for Orangeville Prep in Canada, will visit Pittsburgh Feb.13-15, his father told SNY.tv. His father also also said that his son is "hearing from Texas, Wake Forest, St. Bonaventure, Rhode Island, Old Dominion, Rice, UCSB, Arkansas, Duke and others."

Levi Cook
Levi Cook, the center for Huntington Prep, communicated to SNY.tv that Pitt, South Carolina, and Virginia Tech have been recruiting him the hardest. Cook also told the site he visited South Carolina this past weekend.
Cook is not ranked by ESPN, but is ranked No.218 in the nation by 247Sports.
