The NCAA Women's Tournament continues on Sunday with the second round. Eight games are scheduled to take place on Sunday, with the remaining eight being played on Monday.
Friday's first-round action saw three double-digit seeds advance. No. 11 Gonzaga took a 40-25 lead at halftime and held on for the 82-69 win over No. 6 George Washington. No. 1 overall seed Connecticut won't be playing until Monday, but the Huskies left little doubt with their first-round matchup. UConn smashed St. Francis-Brooklyn, 89-33, setting up a second-round game with No. 8 Rutgers.
