Rumors swirled this weekend that Ryan could retire ahead of the 2015-16 season. The good news for Wisconsin fans is that Ryan will be back to lead a team powered by Nigel Hayes and Bronson Koenig. The bad news is that it sounds like he's going to retire after the season.
The Badgers have reached the Final Four the last two seasons, but will have to replace stars Frank Kaminsky and Sam Dekker for this upcoming season. Ryan has a 357-125 record all-time at Wisconsin.
Gard is someone who should be familiar to Badgers fans. He's been an assistant coach for 14 seasons and was elevated to "associated head coach" in 2008.
