Mario Edwards Jr., arguably the top recruit in the country, is sticking with his commitment to the Florida State Seminoles. Edwards flirted with Oklahoma, Texas and LSU throughout the process, but in the end, he elected to remain firm in his commitment to Florida State, just as his father did many years ago. Edwards tweeted:
"Its official ima Nole"
Edward plays for Denton (Tx.) Ryan High School. At 6'4" and 285 pounds, many have wondered if he can stick at defensive end. Florida State believes he can, and plans to use him at defensive end because of his excellent athleticism (Edwards did a backflip for reporters at almost 300 pounds during the Under Armour All-America Game), and because Jimbo Fisher likes his defense to use larger defensive ends. While at the Under Armour game, Edwards spoke of wanting to be a part of something special at Florida State.

All the banter...
…AND HE’S STILL A NOLE!
"There's always opportunity in everything. I saw him, I laid the wood on him and he went to the sidelines looking for his mouthpiece. That's how that goes."
"You win the game. You find a way to win. That's part of athletics. Everyone wants you to be pretty. Everyone wants you to be perfect. Competing doesn't work that way. That's in the movies. I keep saying this isn't entertainment. It's competition, and there is a difference. In entertainment, you script it, you set it up and a guy makes the big play, the heroic play. He throws a TD or makes the big run. This is real life.
