labama, Georgia or Georgia Tech is likely to land a recruit of many talents.
Henry County High School Super 11 defensive end Dalvin Tomlinson is deciding whether or not to stay in the state of Georgia or if he'd rather play for the defending National Champion.
According to Michael Carvell of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the finalists for the services of the top prospect are the Georgia Bulldogs, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the Alabama Crimson Tide. All three schools have sent Tomlinson scholarship papers, although there remains no word of which school he is planning on committing to prior to National Signing Day on Wednesday.
"There's nothing new ... well, I mean, Dalvin hasn't told anybody anything," Henry County coach Mike Rozier told the AJC. "He knows where he's going but he's not telling anybody. That guy is tight-lipped and poker-faced. His own family members, his aunt and uncle, they don't know."
Apparently the Yellow Jackets and the Crimson Tide are the frontrunners for Tomlinson's services. Tomlinson attended nearly every Georgia Tech home game in 2011 and reportedly wants to stay close to home. Carvell considers UGA to be the "dark horse" for the services of the young player, but noted that Tomlinson has visited the campus multiple times for varying reasons and the home-state ties may play a factor.

Dalvin Tomlinson is one of the top defensive end recruits in the country. And with a heated battle between Alabama, Georgia and Georgia Tech, every contact with coaches counts.
So Georgia fans could not have been happy when they learned that Tomlinson would not be making a visit to Georgia this weekend because of his quest for another state championship in wrestling.
Per SB Nation Atlanta, however, Tomlinson still has Georgia in his top three schools. And don’t be surprised to see rabid UGA fans show up at the state wrestling tournament.

With Alabama extremely tight on scholarships, it's shaping up to be a Peach State battle for uncommitted defensive end Dalvin Tomlinson, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:
"[UGA assistant Bryan McClendon] spoke to Dalvin for a good hour," Henry County coach Mike Rozier said, "and when coach McClendon came out, he said ‘We’re doing something different. The visit is going to be different. It’s going to be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday because of wrestling on the weekend.’ Dalvin has missed a lot of wrestling because of football, and he wants to win that third state title, so Georgia is going to do something special with him for the official visit."
"Georgia has been involved with Dalvin for a long time; I heard from [Mark Richt] a lot during the season," Rozier said. "I think I’m speaking for Dalvin but I think it’s coming down to those three schools – Georgia Tech, Alabama and Georgia. I’ve been talking to Dalvin about that, and he said he still hasn’t made up his mind about where he’s going to sign. I guess he’s going to wait on the Georgia visit and go from there."
