Jan 29, 2012 - Armani Reeves, one of the better cornerback recruits in the 2012 cycle, has committed to Ohio State.
Reeves, from West Roxbury (Ma.) Catholic Memorial High School, was once a Penn State commitment. The sex abuse scandal changed that, and Reeves decommitted, opening things back up.
Reeves holds offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Boston College, Connecticut, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, North Carolina, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Rutgers, Stanford, Utah, Virginia, and Wake Forest.
Reeves announced his decision via Twitter:
I'm going...... #BuckeyeNation #SilverBullets #GoBucks !!!!!! God led me here n in god I trust !! Lets go #BuckeyeNation !!!!

Both schools visited the 5'9", 185 pound cornerback recently, as SB Nation Detroit reported:
Michigan defensive coordinator Greg Mattison visited Reeves on January 24. On the night of January 23, Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer and some of his assistants visited Reeves.
Teammate Camren Williams, a Buckeye commitment, tried to sway Reeves to the Buckeyes. It appears to have worked.
Interestingly, Reeves is from Leeds, Al., and is the cousin of Charles Barkley. Reeves is a very quick corner who should excel in playing off-man coverage. He's also a potential contributor in the return game. Most recruiting services rate Reeves as a four-star player.
