Either Alabama or LSU will land a commitment from one of the nation's top safety, Landon Collins.
Landon Collins, one of the nation's top safeties, is set to decide between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the LSU Tigers on Thursday night during the Under Armour All-America Game on ESPN at 7:30 p.m ET. The Dutchtown High School (Geismar, La.) star measures in at 6'0" and 205 pounds. Collins holds offers from every major SEC and ACC team, as well as Texas and USC.
With the advent of spread offenses, having a versatile safety who can patrol the deep middle on one play and then drop down in the box and play the slot receiver with press technique on the next is invaluable. Collins is just that type of player.
Collins has been very impressive this week in Orlando for the Under Armour All-America game. His speed is excellent, and his strength is obvious.
Collins officially visited Alabama on November 5th, and LSU on December 16th.
Where do you expect Collins to announce?
