Baylor lands a top linebacker.
Brian Nance, a top linebacker recruit, has committed to the Baylor Bears. Nance stars for Trinity School of Euless, Texas. Arkansas, Baylor, USC and UCLA all saw fit to offer Nance, as did many other top BCS programs. His final choice came down to Baylor and Arkansas.
Nance stands 6'3" and weighs in at 215 pounds. He is rated four stars by most services, and is widely regarded as one of the top 15 outside linebacker recruits in the country. Nance is very athletic and shows the ability to cover tight ends and receivers in the underneath routes. But Nance isn't just a coverage linebacker, he is also able to pursue and tackle. Nance needs to get bigger and stronger at the next level. He also tore his ACL before his senior year.
Nance still plans to take visits, which means this recruitment might not be over.
