Ifeadi Odenigbo
Northwestern lands a great pass rusher.
Ifeadi Odenigbo, a talented outside linebacker and defensive end from Centerville, Ohio, has committed to the Northwestern Wildcats. Odenigbo held offers from more than 20 BCS schools, but narrowed his final choice down to Northwestern, Stanford and Notre Dame before choosing the Wildcats.
Odenigbo is considered one of the top 15 pass rushers in the country, be it at outside linebacker or defensive end. And that versatility is part of what makes Odenigbo a desirable player.
Odenigbo could have announced during the Under Armour All-America Game, but opted to wait for a more local feel. "I'm going back to my hometown. I'll have the local media come to my house," Odenigbo said. Odenigbo plans to do the "hat game," because he had always seen it on TV and wanted his chance to do it.
Odenigbo plans to study economics.
