LSU football hosting top recruits for South Carolina game

LSU has a lot of talent in town? Shocking!

The LSU Tigers are expecting a ton of talent on hand this weekend as they host the South Carolina Gamecocks.

First on the list is Justin Manning, a top defensive tackle recruit out of Dallas Kimball High School. In addition to LSU, Manning has offers from powerhouses like Arkansas, Oklahoma, TCU and Texas A&M. Manning is a consensus four-star recruit and checks in at 6-3 and 275 pounds. His visit to LSU has been scheduled for some time. He visited TCU last weekend and A&M the weekend before.

Manning will visit Oklahoma for the Red River Shootout.

Also in town will be Kendell Beckwith, a star athlete out of Jackson (La.) East Feliciana High School. Beckwith plays both linebacker and quarterback for his school, but profiles as an outside rusher at the next level, either at linebacker or defensive end. His 6-2 1/2, 225-pound frame makes him a bit of a 'tweener.'

Also expected is superstar linebacker recruit Reuben Foster, an Auburn commit. Foster actually got the Auburn logo tattooed on himself, but that was before Auburn's disastrous season. Foster seems very unlikely to switch, but getting him on campus is a big deal for the Tigers.
