Oregon vs. USC score update: after third quarter, Trojans need stops

Neither team has punted through three quarters, and there have been 1100 yards of total offense.

If you want just one stat to sum up the first three quarters of the Oregon-USC game, here you go: neither team has punted. Where USC faltered is in the turnover battle; the Trojans have three turnovers (two interceptions and a fumble) to Oregon's one.

Those minor blemishes are enough to mar an otherwise sparkling offensive performance by Matt Barkley and Silas Redd. But hey, when you're playing Oregon and the Ducks' angelic uniforms, you better be spotless. Chip Kelly's team has 619 yards, an incredible effort from Kenjon Barner and is mixing up playcalls to perfection. Oh, and Marcus Mariota is 17 for 20 with 4 TDs.

Fans of other conferences (looking at you, ACC and Big Ten) take note. This is how you run an offense. Without fear. Without compromise. Without mercy.
