The Noles get immediate help at defensive end from a top JUCO recruit.

Desmond Hollin, one of the top junior college defensive end recruits nationally, committed to the Florida State Seminoles Monday according to multiple reports.

Hollin originally played at Miami (Fla.) Southridge High School, and was a two-star recruit in 2011. He ended up at ASA College after originally committing to New Mexico.

Hollin is 6'4" and 260 pounds, and has good college-ready size. He also held offers from Kentucky and Purdue.

Florida State has had success recently with JUCO defensive ends including Markus White and Cornellius "Tank" Carradine.

Like them, Hollin will be asked to step in and contribute immediately, as the Seminoles lose Brandon Jenkins, Carradine and likely Bjoern Werner, a junior.

The Seminoles now have 17 commitments in the class of 2013, and will look to take many more if the right pieces fall into place.
