Oh, the wonderful world of recruiting.
Earlier Wednesday, Lauderdale Lakes (Fla.) High School cornerback Eddie Jackson, a talented sleeper recruit, committed to the Florida State Seminoles.
Now, however, he seems to be backing off that a bit, because he still has to discuss the decision with his father, per Josh Newberg of Noles247.com.
Everything is happening fast for Jackson, as his excellent senior film begins to circulate and word that he has improved his academic profile some spreads. He recently added an offer from Tennessee, and some sources believe LSU is close to offering. He is a three-star recruit, but his film shows much more.
However, it sounds like FSU should still be in good position whenever the conversation does take place between Jackson and his father.
However, when I congratulated Jackson on his commitment & asked for an interview via text, he said, "Thanks, feels good, can't tk right now"
