Laquon Treadwell: "Mom is sold on Ole Miss"

2013 Crete (IL) Monee wide receiver Laquon Treadwell - Bud Elliott (SB Nation)

The Rebels appear to have a powerful ally in their corner as they try to close with one of the nation's best wide receiver.

A third visit to Ole Miss this fall for 2013 Crete (IL) Monee wide receiver Laquon Treadwell was always going to be an important one, but it may have sealed the deal for one person close to Treadwell:

As good as things looked for new head coach Hugh Freeze and a program that appears to be on the rise under his direction, several other tweets from Treadwell had to have Ole Miss fans salivating even more so:

It seems as if Treadwell's mother isn't the only one who can see him doing big things in Oxford.

Though the name was misspelled, it appears that Treadwell and Fort Lauderdale (FL) Northeast wide receiver Stacy Coley have struck up a friendship and have talked about playing together. Retweets hardly equal endorsements for recruits, but Treadwell did notably retweet this thought from Cole's account:

That tweet sparked a conversation in which Treadwell told Coley he couldn't just be talking about that type of thing, to which Coley responded that he would talk to his mom about Ole Miss.

Treadwell was also asked to retweet a response if Ole Miss was his top choice. He obliged.

The 247Sports composite five-star prospect will take an official visit to Oklahoma in mid-December before making his decision. The Sooners are in his top group, along with Oklahoma State, though Treadwell has not taken an official visit to Stillwater yet and does not appear to have one scheduled.
