Wednesday is 2012 National Signing Day, when high school recruits announce their commitments to their chosen schools and sign their letters of intent.
The complete coverage of National Signing Day begins at 9:00 a.m., ET on ESPNU. One of the players that will be appearing, but not signing, is Mario Edwards Jr. The 6'4" defensive tackle from Denton, TX is ranked No. 3 overall in the class of 2012 and first in his position by Rivals.
Edwards is not expected to be signing because both he and his father are adamant that his mind is made up and his commitment to the Florida St. Seminoles is set in stone. Edwards' early appearance during the morning will set the tone for ESPN's theme that the Seminoles have a chance to leave National Signing Day as this year's biggest winner where recruitment is concerned.
