Quinshad Davis Commits To North Carolina Over Tennessee, Wake Forest

North Carolina lands a top receiver.

Feb 1, 2012 - Quinshad Davis, a top receiver recruit, has committed to the North Carolina Tar Heels over Tennessee and Wake Forest. Davis stars for Gaffney (S.C.) High School. He holds more than 10 BCS college offers, including Clemson, Illinois, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Carolina State, South Carolina, Tennessee and Wake Forest. Davis is rated a four-star prospect by most services, and is generally regarded as one of the top 30 receivers in the country. Davis narrowed his schools to Tennessee, North Carolina and Wake.

Davis is 6'3" and weighs 190 pounds. He has solid speed and does a great job going after the football. He will need to learn to use his length to get off the press, and must improve as a route runner. Davis also put a strong focus on academics.
