The LSU Tigers gained one outside linebacker on National Signing Day, but have lost another. Edge rusher Torshiro Davis, a four-star according to most recruiting services, decommitted from LSU and will join the Texas Longhorns. LSU looked to have a strong pair of outside 'backes after Kwon Alexander announced via bow tie, but there goes that plan:
@BFLT_at_BON It's official. Torshiro Davis to Texas. I'm working on post right now for Burnt Orange Nation. HUGE NEWS.
Davis is six-foot-three and 222 pounds and took December visits to Texas and Nebraska. However, his last visit was to Baton Rouge, and he seemed to be set to head to Death Valley. He's likely to soon fill a major need for Texas, which will need pass-rushing help in a big way in the coming years.
