Jordan Diamond chose Auburn at a late signing ceremony, picking the Tigers over a host of other offers.
Jordan Diamond, a top offensive tackle recruit, has committed to Auburn. Out of Chicago Simeon High School, the 6'6", 290 pound Diamond holds offers from more than 20 BCS programs. He's rated a four-star prospect by most of the top recruiting services. All major scouting services regard him as one of the top offensive line recruits. Diamond considered offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Michigan and Wisconsin, and visited all four schools before choosing the Tigers. Diamond announced his commitment during a ceremony at his Chicago high school.
Diamond shows some good athleticism in the clips below. Other than that, it's difficult to tell much. The competition he plays certainly isn't that faced by top prospects in Florida, Texas or California. This is a recruit with top size, good length, and the ability to bend. He'll not be in for the spring semester, however, so early playing time is probably out of the question.
