College Football Recruiting 2013: Top 10 Recruits To Watch

Even though the ink is just drying on the class of 2012, college football recruiting is a year-round process. Coaches have been evaluating 2013 prospects for several months now. And while many kids will continue to emerge as their junior film is sent out, as they impress at a summer camp or combine, or as they have a breakout senior year, here are 10 prospects who each hold a lot of top college offers.

Robert Nkemdiche

Defensive End | Loganville (Ga.) Grayson | 6'5" 275
Early Offers: Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Florida, Florida State, Auburn, etc.
First look: There are some who believe Nkemdiche was the best high school player in the country -- as a junior. Some recruiting cycles feature fun debates about the top player. 2013 is not one of those cycles. When Jadeveon Clowney was a senior, he was the best defensive line prospect to come along in a long time. Just two years later, Nkemdiche might be better. Some like him as a defensive tackle, but his best fit is probably as a 5-technique in a 3-4. Alabama, the team many believe will ultimately land this Peach State star, runs a 3-4. High school juniors just aren't supposed to be this powerful and quick. Nkemdiche wrecked a lot of very good Georgia offenses.

Laremy Tunsil

Offensive Tackle | Lake City (Fla.) Columbia | 6'6" 280
Early Offers: Alabama, Florida, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia and Michigan.
First look: Columbia High has yet another elite big man. Two years ago, it was five-star defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan terrorizing backfields for LCCHS. Now its Tunsil, a franchise offensive tackle prospect. Height, length, a solid frame and excellent athleticism.

Reuben Foster

Linebacker | LaGrange (Ga). Troup County | 6'1" 230
Early Offers: Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Florida State, LSU, etc.
First look: Foster has been wowing recruitniks ever since his freshman film hit YouTube. The best way to describe his game is probably just a comparison: Patrick Willis. Both Willis and Foster are shorter backers, but they don't let the lack of an inch or two negatively impact their game. Both are excellent athletes and are incredible hitters. Foster is committed to Alabama. As you watch this film, remember that this is Foster as a sophomore.

Max Browne

Quarterback | Sammamish (Wa.) Skyline | 6'5" 205
Early Offers: Alabama, Cal, Clemson, Oregon State, Washington
First look: Browne is a prototypical pocket passer. He has plenty of arm strength to fit the ball into tight spaces and make all the throws. He also shows excellent touch and feel for the precision throws and timing routes. And while Brown is not going to make a lot of people miss in college, he is not completely immobile, either.

Thomas Tyner

Running Back | Beaverton (Or.) Aloha | 6'0" 205
Early Offers: Oregon, Oregon State and USC
First look: Tyner is committed to Oregon, and Duck fans haven't seen a combination of power and speed like this since Jonathan Stewart suited up in Eugene.

Vernon Hargreaves III

Cornerback | Tampa (Fla.) Wharton | 5'11" 180
Early Offers: Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, etc.
First look: Hargreaves is the son of USF coach Vernon Hargreaves. And when watching him play, you can definitely see the effects of growing up around the game. Hargreaves is a tremendous cornerback prospect. He has excellent speed and athleticism paired with solid size. But what sets his game apart is his polish. That advanced technique will help Hargreaves play early no matter the school he chooses.

Jake Raulerson

Offensive Tackle | Celina (Tx.) High School | 6'5" 260
Early Offers: Texas, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Alabama, etc.
First look: Raulerson shows very good athleticism and has the frame to add a lot of weight. The recent Texas commitment is likely a redshirt candidate, as are many offensive linemen, but he shows the tools to be a multi-year starter for the Longhorns.

Montravius Adams

Defensive Tackle | Vienna (Ga.) Dooly County | 6'4" 280
Early Offers: Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, ect.
First look: Adams is one of the most impressive defensive linemen in the class of 2013. He already has good size and should be able to add a lot more in a college strength program. Adams is very quick and strong. He's simply too much for opposing blockers in high school.

Su'a Cravens

Safety | Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta | 6'1" 205
Early Offers: USC, Cal, Washington, Oregon, Florida, Notre Dame, etc.
First look: Cravens is an excellent player. He combines top-notch instincts and athleticism with a passion for playing the game. Cravens is a big hitter, but can still cover. He shouldn't be forced to play linebacker in college. It's not crazy to throw out a Sean Taylor comparison here.

Cameron Burrows

Defensive Back | Dayton (Oh.) Trotwood-Madison | 6'2" 195
Early Offers: Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama, Notre Dame, Stanford
First look: Taller cornerbacks don't come around often, but this Ohio State commitment just might have enough athleticism to stay at corner. Burrows shows very good speed and, considering his height, changes direction pretty well.

Kenny Bigelow

Defensive Line | Bear (De.) Red Lion Christian | 6'3.5" 280
Early Offers: USC, Auburn, Clemson, Oklahoma, Penn State.
First look: Bigelow has been on USC's radar for quite some time. The question facing this USC commitment is whether he will be able to play defensive end or will be forced to move to tackle. At 280 entering his senior year, here's betting Bigelow moves inside. Not that moving inside is a bad thing, of course, as Bigelow plays with good power and is very quick.
