Alabama snags an offensive line recruit from Georgia.
Andy Dodd, an offensive line recruit, has committed to Alabama according to 247sports. Dodd stars for Lindale (Ga.) Pepperell High School, the same school of 2012 Alabama commitment Dakota Ball. Dodd stands 6'4 and weighs 325 pounds. He claims offers from Florida State, Georgia Tech, LSU, Clemson, Miami, South Carolina and Maryland.
Dodd has excellent size for a high school offensive lineman, and he does not appear to carry it sloppily. Dodd is rated as a three-star by most of the major recruiting services. He likely profiles as a guard at the next level, though he does move pretty well. He needs to work on his pad level, however.
Dodd is the ninth commitment in the 2013 class for the Crimson Tide, which should again have a top recruiting class. He joins other offensive line recruits Bradley Bozeman and Grant Hill.
