Demarcus Walker
DeMarcus Walker, a top defensive line recruit from Jacksonville (Fla.) Sandalwood High School, updated fans and schools alike on his recruitment Monday night via Twitter.

Of course, a kid with a top eight schools is very likely to change this list quite a bit. Walker did not clarify if the schools were listed in order.
Two schools in Walker's list run a dedicated 3-4 defense (Alabama and Tennessee), while several others, including Florida, run at least some variations of the scheme. This could be important as Walker keeps growing, because he may not be agile enough to play defensive end in a 4-3 if he ends up at 290 pounds. That's not to say that Walker is not a good player. He's excellent. It's just a reminder that recruits are kids and they often grow a lot during and after high school.
Florida commitment Ahmad Fulwood had a funny response to Walker's list:
@livinglegend_44 1.Florida 2.Florida 3.Florida 4.Florida 5.Florida 6.Florida 7.Florida 8.Florida not much else #Gatorswag

Walker also announced that he plans to take all five official visits and three unofficial visits.
I will take unofficial visits to UF and FSU as well as Clemson this summer

The reason for the visits to Florida, Florida State and Clemson being unofficial is likely distance, as it makes better financial sense to take the five official visits to schools located far away from home as official visits and the associated travel are paid for by the school.
My 5 official visits in the fall will be AL, Aub, Tenn, USC, and LSU. Coach G and I will be in Knox June 4-6 for a camp and auburn the 11-12

The visits to Knoxville and Auburn are unlikely to be official visits, and thus are unofficial stops on his recruiting tour.
This on the heels of postponing his commitment, which was initially scheduled for May 24.
